The Research and Development Center in Prague is engaged in the development of sensors, software, and systems for autonomous cars, air conditioning systems, and control panels. Our engineers create technologies that promote mobility and at the same time are environmentally friendly. We are constantly looking for new, innovative solutions. We listen to our consumers and we do our utmost to accommodate their requirements and expectations. We listen to our partners from the automobile industry and try to offer them even more innovative concepts. We are currently involved in more than 50 joint research projects around the world.




Already in new

In December 2016, we moved into a brand-new R&D center in Depo Hostivar station. We have at disposal 5,500 m2 of offices, over 3,000 m2 of highly equipped laboratories, and a testing area for ultrasonic and camera systems. The complex is enriched by a sports court, fitness room, outdoor seating area with grill, and parking spaces for electric vehicles.

Each engineering position has its defined role in the process which you can see on the schema below.


Project Manager
The project manager is responsible for managing the full life cycle of the project in compliance with performance objectives: quality, cost, profitability, delivery, timing, flawless production launch. He/she works in close cooperation with the R&D departments and his project team.
Technical Project Manager
The Technical Project Manager manages work of R&D project contributors within software, design, prototype and testing departments and is responsible for detailed scheduling and budgeting for the specific customer project.
System Engineer / Architect
The System Engineer / System Architect is in cooperation with the different R&D functions (SW, HW, Application) responsible for verification of the system functionality, collaboration in the specification, planning, execution and analysis of system tests and presentation of the system for internal and external customers.
SW Design Engineer
Our software design engineer team participates on maintenance and development of Advanced Driving Assistance Systems software in the different areas: for automotive-grade micro controllers (Embedded C Developer), of algorithms for ADAS (ADAS Functions Developer), validation tools (NI LabView and C++ Tool Developer), algorithm design for DSP or ARM-like CPUs (Computer Vision Research Developer).
HW / Electronic Design Engineer
The Electronic / Hardware Design Engineer is responsible design and development of electronic circuits from analyses of internal and external requirements for electronic systems, through modification of electronic circuits to cover customer requirements up to review and approval of PCB layouts to ensure design compliance for Manufacturing and EMC.
Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer creates Mechanical 3D models with solid and surface model and 2D Drawings in CATIA V5 and participates on preparation of detailed cracked design for ECU integration into customer environment.
Laboratory Validation Engineer
The Laboratory Validation Engineer participates on the comprehensive testing of Comfort and driving assistance systems from creating time schedules for the validation and managing tests with the support of laboratory technicians.
System Test Engineer
Our team of system test engineers participates on creation of test guidelines and data analyses from the testing process. They are responsible for specification, planning, execution and analysis of system tests, creation of test strategy, initial system start up including integration tests up to presentation of the system tests for internal and external customers.
The Annotator is responsible for analysis and labeling (ground truth generation) of sensor data (video, ultrasonic, laser scanner) to support scene analysis algorithm validation of the ADAS systems (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems).
Test Driver
The Test Driver is working in close cooperation with the system test engineers being responsible for performing in-vehicle testing of the ADAS systems in prototype cars on the test track and in real road traffic.
Application Engineer
The Application Engineer is executing measurement, evaluation and control of system integration and application of the required parameters. He is responsible for calibration of our system in customers’ vehicles and execution of integration tests directly at the customer onsite.
Application Engineer
The Customer Requirement Analyst / System Requirement Engineer acts in close communication with the customer and the system engineer. He/she analyzes the technical requirements of the customer and takes part in the detailed specification of the system and its sub-systems. Afterwards he/she adapts and records those specifications for internal use by SW, HW, mechanical design and test engineers. He/she updates and keeps evidence of the changes to the system requirements through the project’s lifetime.
